My husband has bilateral Nephrostomy tubes. He has struggled with leg bands and had resorted to hanging the bags from a waistband with safety pins. We ordered a pair of Cathwear last week, hoping that he could get some relief. We highly recommend Cathwear . It fits well, is comfortable, keeps the bags in place, and prevents skin irritation from the Nephrostomy bags. It's also easy care, machine wash and dry. Was told about this product by the nurse at my first
Suprapubic Catheter change, so I ordered a pair to try out and soon after I got them and tried them, I ordered 3 more as I was sold on them. They are very comfortable to wear and I feel more secure with this catheter while wearing them. I can't say how they will be in the hot summer, but we just went thru a warm spell of mid 70's and no problem.
